1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ClipPilot ("Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ClipPilot is a video clipping and editing platform that uses AI to automatically detect viral moments, generate captions, and export short-form video content. Features and pricing are subject to change with reasonable notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ClipPilot. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all videos and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant ClipPilot a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will never sell, share, or use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload. You may not upload content that is illegal, infringes third-party intellectual property, or violates any applicable law.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to upload or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform or its APIs
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
• Circumvent any usage limits, billing, or access controls

6. Billing & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly. All charges are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Overages are billed at the per-minute rate stated on your plan at the time of use.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 14 days' advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your content will be deleted from our servers within 30 days.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated clip suggestions will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClipPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or content. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClipPilot and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Florida.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or in-app notice before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
